A Women-in-Consulting session has been added to our National Conference to explore the specific traits that often make women more effective consultants than their male counterparts, and how we might improve engagement with women in the Consulting Profession.
Delegates of the IMC National Conference 2016, have a 'complimentary' invitation to this event.

Deb Archbold (Facilitator)
Deb Archbold is Managing Director of Deborah Wilson Consulting Services, a research and consulting business she established in 1982. Deb works in diverse fields including supply chain engagement and capability building in the mining, oil and gas and major projects sector, economic development strategies for cities and regions, and in-depth and technical research projects covering manufacturing through to performance and use of Australian fisheries.
Deb is a CMC, Qualified Practising Market Researcher and is also a Director of Indigenous Supply Chain Connections which connects Indigenous businesses into major supply chains. Deb has been a member of IMC for over 20 years.
Nancy Georges
The Retail Miss Fix-it
Nancy is a retail strategist, with over 25 years experience in retail, marketing, strategic planning, wholesale, product development, customer service, training & manufacturing in a diverse range of retail environments & product categories, in Australia, Asia, USA and Europe.
Nancy started Magnolia Solutions in response to an increasing demand from retailers for marketing support. She works with Retailers, Shopping Centres, Councils, Chambers of Commerce, manufacturers and service providers on all aspects of their business based on her practical experience within the retail industry. Her expertise is in all areas of retail, marketing and digital integration.
Nancy is also a social media expert who shares her skills and know-how with clients and at conferences, seminars, workshops and masterclasses. She created "The Business Crew", a monthly meeting designed to support and encourage retailers & small business owners to navigate their way through the new connected marketplace, and "Innovation Pitchfest", a world first event, to reward & promote design and innovation in product design and invention.
As organiser of "Social Media Women", Nancy organises monthly meetups in Sydney and invites experts from all fields to share their journey in an extension of her sharing of information.
Nancy is a keynote speaker and trainer on a wide range of topics that are focused on all aspects of retail, especially; Retail Fundamentals, The New Customer, Social Media, Website & E-Commerce, Customer Service and Strategic Planning. Nancy also wrote “7 Powerful Ways to Boost Retail Profits, In Any Economic Climate” to help retailers reconnect with the basic fundamentals of a successful retail business.
Sue Leslie

For over 25 years, Sue has been involved in researching, applying and designing effective internal and external strategic communication. This has involved assessing, mapping, and training communication capabilities and competencies of people and teams within diverse organisations.
For the last few years, Sue's focus has been researching and developing the role of strategic communication in project management and change management. This has led to Sue developing a methodology for a more effective tendering processes that capture innovation, engage stakeholders and build effective teams.
Judith Fox
National Director, Policy & Publishing, Governance Institute of Australia
Judith Fox advocates for sound regulatory frameworks in governance and corporate law, develops thought leadership papers and guidance, and conducts research on Australian governance and risk management practice. She has responsibility for stakeholder, government and media relations for the Institute. She also has responsibility for Governance Institute’s publishing arm, which produces Australia’s pre-eminent journal on governance, Governance Directions, as well as a series of publications in this area.
Judith has represented Governance Institute on the ASX Corporate Governance Council since 2005, and is also a member of Standards Australia’s Risk Management and Governance Committees, the Business Reporting Leaders Forum and ASIC’s Business Advisory Committee.
Judith was recognised for her work in public policy by being named as one of the 2014 Australian Financial Review and Westpac 100 Women of Influence.
