International Development Consulting
Opportunities exist for Australian consultants to assist with International Development, particularly for those with Professional Membership and international Certification. Come and find out how to get involved from one of Australia's most experienced International Development Consultants.
Sam Durland, International Development Consultant, will seek to answer a number of questions he is often asked by other consultants, including;
- What is international development?
- What is international development consulting all about?
- What skills are needed?
- What are some typical assignments?
- What are the rewards?
- How do I get into it?
Sam’s presentation will include an illustrated case study from his experience as a team leader and consultant on a major project in the small southern African country of Lesotho. He will also give you a taste of some of his adventuring in that country.
IMC Strategic Initiatives Update
Brendyn Williams, NSW&ACT Chapter President and National President, will provide an update presentation on the strategic initiatives of IMC both locally and nationally, and help Members and Non-Members to better understand how to participate. Opportunities also exist for eligible members to nominate for leadership and management roles within the Institute.
This will be a great opportunity to experience our new Seminar location at PwC's recently opened Barangaroo Office!
